Governor Ricketts announced today that Softball and Baseball could resume June 1, based on these guidelines.

The guidelines state practices can start on Monday, June 1, and Games can start on Thursday, June 18.

Unfortunately, those dates leave us very little time to get any semblance of a season in.  Our park is undergoing a massive face lift this summer and fall, and construction is slated to begin on June 29.

That leaves us with 10 days to get the season in, and would be extremely difficult to adhere to those guidelines in a practical and safe manner.

With that information, our board voted this evening to cancel our 2020 season and later this fall will begin showcasing the progress on our park and planning for the 2021 season.

All registrations will be refunded, minus processing fees, beginning Tuesday May 12.  It may take a few days to see the refund from TeamSnap, but you should receive an email confirmation shortly after the refund is initiated.

Our sincerest of apologies, we’re all terribly disappointed and were holding out hope that we’d be able to get the season in and let our kids get outside and play ball.

We will do everything we can to make next season our best yet, and can’t wait to see you all in our new park.

Please reach out to us via our contact page if you have any questions.

Thank you,
David Kiraly
